Set Up a QR Code Menu: Step-by-Step Guide
A QR code on the table that leads directly to the menu — it can be that simple. This guide shows you step by step how to create a QR code menu and deploy it in your restaurant.
Step 1: Create your menu
Open the Menu Card Generator and enter your restaurant details. Create categories and add dishes with prices, descriptions and allergens.
Step 2: Choose a design
Select from 5 templates (Modern, Classic, Rustic, Asian, Street Food). Customize colors, font and logo.
Step 3: Export HTML
Download your finished menu as an HTML file. This file is completely standalone — no server or database needed.
Step 4: Host the file
Upload the HTML file to your web hosting, or use free services like Netlify Drop (simply drag & drop) or GitHub Pages.
Step 5: Generate QR code
Enter the URL of your hosted menu in the QR tab and generate a QR code. Download it as PNG or SVG.
Step 6: Place the QR code
Print the QR code on table tents (directly as PDF in the generator), stickers, flyers or laminated cards. Place them on every table.
Tips
